Head of Engagement Required

Dublin City Council Culture Company wishes to recruit a Head of Engagement to work alongside the CEO and team. The Head of Engagement is a key role and one of the senior management team of Dublin City Council Culture Company. As Head of Engagement, your role is to manage the existing programmes, and devise new programmes as relevant which allow us to achieve our goals and to ensure that our values are embedded in and permeate all our activity. The company’s work is focused on embedding cultural experiences and increasing cultural participation throughout Dublin’s neighbourhoods.

Dublin City Council Culture Company is a new company established to create and deliver cultural initiatives in Dublin City, and to initiate, implement and manage cultural programmes and buildings for the benefit of the citizens of Dublin, locally and citywide. Collaborating with citizens, communities, cultural organisations, businesses, and Dublin City Council itself, the company’s work is focused on embedding cultural experiences and increasing cultural participation throughout Dublin’s neighbourhoods.

POSITION SUMMARY

Post Title: Head of Engagement Dublin City Council Culture Company
Post Status: Fixed Term Contract (full-time), three years.
Location: Dublin City Council Culture Company, 14 Henrietta Street, Dublin 1.
Reports to: CEO Dublin City Council Culture Company.
Key relationships: Head of Visitor Experience, Communications Manager, Company
Administrator, Head of Operations, Project Manager EU Lab, Project Managers Culture Near You
Line Management: Engagement Team, currently five Engagement Coordinators
Salary: €48,000 gross p.a.
Pension: A contribution of 10% of salary will be made to an agreed pension savings scheme subject to the individual contributing a similar percentage.
