Culture Club is our series of hosted talks and tours that encourage people to connect with the cultural spaces of the city.
While we’re missing exploring our city the way we usually would, we’re delighted to announce Culture Club Online.
We’re inviting you to see and experience cultural events, talks and performances virtually, from the comfort of home. There are 20 events to choose from for Culture Club Online throughout the month of May, spanning art, literature, theatre and history, and even engaging with some Dublin museums and galleries, albeit in a new way.
You can expect to see some friendly faces in a relaxed, informal setting while we set out to explore what culture we can enjoy from home.
Each event will be followed by a chat (and tea if you have it!) with fellow Culture Clubbers.
How does it work?
Culture Club online is free and open to all.
Booking is required and you can view the programme of events and book your place online here.
Once your place is booked, a member of the Culture Club Online team will be in contact with you a couple of days in advance of the event. They will send you a Zoom link to the online cultural experience you have booked via email so that you can take part from home.
The link in this email will allow you to participate in the Culture Club Online that you have chosen.
The day before the Culture Club Online is set to take place you will receive a link with the Zoom meeting details.
Zoom is a free online meeting platform. You will need a Zoom account to join Culture Club Online and this short instructional video shows you how to sign up.
We’re excited to grow and add to the programme over the next few months to bring you more cultural experiences online, and we hope to see you at Culture Club Online soon!
As always, please feel free to call, text or email us if you have any questions at 086 810 1783 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
