Dublin City Council Culture Company is seeking to appoint a Head of Creative Development.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Dublin City Council Culture Company has recently launched its five-year Company Strategy.
It is ambitious and wide open for the development of further opportunities for creative encounters for the people who call Dublin home.
The company is now seeking a person who can lead this creative development of programmes and projects with the wider company team. This newly created role, focused on the vision and provision of cultural engagement programmes, is a key role in the senior team of Dublin City Council Culture Company.
The main areas for consideration of this role include.
– Continuing the ongoing and regular review process of some creative engagement programmes
– Building on what is working and devising new programmes as relevant which allow us to ensure that our values permeate all our activities
The core essence of the strategy is to connect people and communities through culture and conversation. When people feel connected to their communities, they feel safer and stronger, and are healthier.
Deadline for applications: 18th December 2019.
Interviews: will take place on the week of 6th January 2020.
Starting date: subject to agreement, from 28th February 2020 or date close to that.
Duration: 3 years full-time, fixed term contract of employment.
Salary: €48,000 per annum
Pension: A contribution of 10% of salary will be made to an agreed pension savings scheme
subject to the individual contributing a similar percentage.
