14 Henrietta Street
14 Henrietta Street is a social history museum of Dublin life, from one building’s Georgian beginnings to its tenement times. We connect the history of urban life over 300 years to the stories of the people who called this place home.
I’ve lived in Dublin for over 40 years and only recently became aware of this house. This museum is well worth visiting. Its history is astonishing. It’s amazing to think about all the people that passed through this house and to consider how they lived. Our tour guide was a great story teller with a great knowledge of Irish history, the house and its residents. I can highly recommend this museum.AideenMc7, TripAdvisor Review, October 2024
Our guided tours bring to life the stories of the humans who lived in the house, their changing circumstances, their experience of family life, of politics, and the impact of world affairs.
We protect, share and add to the cultural life of the city. We tell stories, make connections and uncover history.
