Our Ríocht (Our Kingdom)
Join us on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September at Kevins GAA Clubhouse, Donore Avenue, Dublin 8 for Our Ríocht (Our Kingdom).
Our Ríocht is an opportunity for members and neighbours of Kevins GAA to come together to remember our shared Gaelic history and heritage. Led by artist Timmy Creed we will share stories, food, song and games, exploring the roots of hurling through myth and language and building our collective story together.
About the Creative Residency in Art & Sport
We create partnerships to try out ideas, test new approaches and add to the cultural story of the city.
Our Creative Residency in Art and Sport creates opportunities for artists to work in residence across local sports clubs and Dublin City Council community sports and recreation centres.
Creative Residencies encourage makers and experts to pilot new partnerships with organisations. By bringing creative people and organisations together, and by connecting through culture and conversations, we will develop and share new ways of working.
Timmy Creed has been working with the members of Kevins GAA Club since January 2023, spending time learning about the club’s history and culture.
