Listen to the voices of the people of Dublin through the words of Stephen James Smith.

The artwork Dublin You Are was created 10 years ago. Through the words of Stephen James Smith and a team of Dublin based artists, that project reflected the conversations and workshops we had with people all over the city then.

Now, for the anniversary of the Dublin You Are project, we have co-produced with Stephen James Smith - and a team of creatives - to create a new artwork, including poetry and an artistic film, to reflect the voices of people across Dublin City 10 years later. It is called "Talk To Me".

This piece uses the information gathered from the our Tea & Chats programme, which has consulted with the people of Dublin through ongoing conversations across the city for the past 10 years.

As part of his process for creating this piece, Stephen considered over 500 reports from the past 10 Years of the Tea & Chats programme. He met with the team who deliver this programme to learn more about the process and methodology for Tea & Chats workshops, what type of people and community groups participate in them and what they say. This was combined with his own research to write the poem.

We are delighted to share this with you now.
