Tours as Gaeilge at 14 Henrietta Street and Richmond Barracks
Whether you’re a Gaeilgeoir or just looking to reconnect to your native teanga, we have just the thing for you. From March 2022, both 14 Henrietta Street and Richmond Barracks will be running monthly guided and walking tours as Gaeilge.
14 Henrietta Street
Located on the most intact Georgian street on Dublin’s historic north side, 14 Henrietta Street tells the story of 300 years of city life at one address. Led by our award-winning tour guides, the intimate tour charts the fortunes of the house and its inhabitants from its Georgian beginnings to tenement times.
The Irish language version of the guided tour of 14 Henrietta Street will take place on the second Saturday of each month at 12:30pm.
Richmond Barracks
On the south side of the city, in the heart of Inchicore, our team in Richmond Barracks will be hosting an Irish language version of the Richmond Barracks to Kilmainham Walking Tour. Our guides will bring their own brand of unique storytelling to recount the rich history of Dublin 8 as Gaeilge. Come along and discover the hidden histories of Inchicore like never before.
The Irish language version of the Richmond Barracks to Kilmainham Walking Tour will take place on the first Saturday of each month at 2pm.
