Our Board of Directors

As we continue to implement our new 2025–2030 Strategy, we are delighted to welcome Michelle Robinson and Dr Ciarán Wallace to the Board of Directors of Dublin City Council Culture Company.
Our new strategy sets out an ambitious vision for deepening cultural participation, expanding access, and fostering cultural confidence across Dublin. The knowledge and experience Michelle and Ciarán bring will help guide this next phase of our work.
They join the continued support and dedication of Board members Tom Dunne, Owen Keegan (Chair), Dr Kerry McCall Magan, Councillor Cat O’Driscoll and Councillor Supriya Singh. The Culture Company is governed by a board of directors of seven people who are responsible for governance and oversight. The board’s role is to guide the executive team to deliver on the company strategy. The board works with the Chief Executive and Leadership team to ensure all activity aligns with the mission and vision while they delegate day-to-day operations to the staff.
Michelle Robinson is Executive Manager for the Central and South East Area of Dublin City Council, bringing invaluable experience in local governance and civic engagement. Dr Ciarán Wallace is an author, a Co-Director of the Virtual Record Treasury of Ireland and a lecturer at Trinity College Dublin. He adds expertise in heritage and social history, further strengthening the range of skills and experience already existing on our Board.
Both Michelle and Ciarán share a strong alignment of the rest of the Board members with Culture Company values of inclusion, sustainability, collaboration, and public value. We are grateful for their dedication to our mission and look forward to working alongside them as we build on the success of recent years to deliver high-quality, people-centred cultural experiences across the city.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Brendan Teeling and Tim Carey, who have completed their terms on the Board. Both played a key role in shaping and supporting the Culture Company during a period of significant growth, contributing thoughtfully to the development and delivery of our 2019–2024 Strategy. Their insight, collegiality, and commitment have been deeply valued, and we are grateful for the clarity and care they brought to their governance roles throughout their tenure.
